Reading some mysteries is like watching a television, while reading some (most) thrillers is similar to wating IMAX. Foreign travel, intriguing locales, far-away places that I might never be able to see. That's why I like reading thrillers.

Dick
www.puborperish.blogspot.comDHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04374941532797206860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2444069458422024208.post-76396543608572592702010-11-09T10:50:02.611-08:002010-11-09T10:50:02.611-08:00Well, not sure I agree. That's not a criticism, but it is an explanation of why I write thrillers.mattlynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07829245589693825681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2444069458422024208.post-39351095280462444922010-11-09T09:06:53.014-08:002010-11-09T09:06:53.014-08:00Fighting the corner for the crime genre - murder s...Fighting the corner for the crime genre - murder stories can also take in politics, economics, war, technology, and international relations. Look at Ian Rankin and Henning Mankell, to name just two. Within the Curzon Group Richard Jay Parker raises topical issues about technology in Stop Me and my psychological murder stories take a walk on the dark side of the human psyche - a small scale canvas but timeless in its own way.Leigh Russellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15080517449825380527noreply@blogger.com
